Recommendations?

I haven�t been following anime very closely for the last few years. What are some really great, must see, shows/movies/OAVs since� oh 2000 or so that I might have missed and should pick up. I�m open to all genres, harem, magical girl, sci-fi, whatever. I don�t really need links, I�m sure I can track down DVDs if they�ve been released in the US, torrents failing that and HK bootlegs failing that (a shitty translation is better than no translation).
