Several anime adaptations have been made out of existing manga, some of them unsuccessful or too short. What manga would you like to see have a second chance as an anime?
RG Veda- This long fantasy series was only made as 2 episodes.
Outlanders- A short OAV that captured some of the mood of the story, but not enough.
Dragon Knight- Way too short, loosely based on the RPG series. Could have used a longer story with more humor, sex, and drama.

Gantz: lol, it anything after the Buddha mission needs to be redone, most Gantz fans will agree-
Hellsing could also use an try, only the first half was acceptable IMHO. Needs more villains from the manga.
Blame! the webanime was okay, what could you expect from five minute clips. It caught a tiny bit of the atmosphere, but it would be nice to see the whole story as anime (preferably in black and white)
Battle Angel Alita: Couldn't stand the "movie", but a series true to the manga could be awesome.

they need to get on the ball and start to make a new seaons of berserk. the manga is fucking awesome uo to this point and they have plenty of material to work with. if they make a game with just 6 volumes they can make another season with no problem.

Hellsing? Hell no. There's no f'n way that even japanese would do Hellsing without butchering it beyond recognition... AGAIN.
It's way too violent for TV, and it's too long for OAV.

Many series don't do the manga justice, but I think Berserk takes the cake when it comes to potential. The existing TV series, which is good, is really just the introduction to a much deeper, epic story. There is a lot left hanging at the end of the series, and so much more great material to work with. Anybody who liked the series would absolutely love more of the story to be animated. (Personally, I'd like to see a nice OVA of the Lost Children arc.) Lots of other series deserved a better treatment in the anime, but Berserk could probably make the most out of additional animation.
I agree on the TV series treatment, though. It's got none of the manga's gleeful charm and all of the unnecessary angsting they could put in. I didn't know I liked Hellsing until I read the manga.
