Character Database

Someone should make a program/website which is a database of anime characters. You should be able to search for characters by hair/eye/skin color, hair length, description of normally worn clothes, name, from which series, gender, etc. When you search you'll get up a list with each matching characters face where you can click on it for more info or refine your search. And you should of course be free to add more characters yourself...

I often find myself wondering which series a specific character belongs to etc. all the time when I'm sorting my images, so a database like this would be great. Maybe one exists already?

Heh, you're implying that all anime characters can be generated from a set number of properties and characteristics.
