Name: Anonymous 2005-03-12 12:05

In a telephone interview to Chris Guanche of Mecha Anime, Jerry Chu, Marketing Manager for Bandai Entertainment, Inc., announced that Bandai has acquired the franchise rights to the Gundam Series. This includes the new series Gundam SEED Destiny which is currently airing in Japan. In the interview, Mr. Chu stated that "production will begin soon on Gundam SEED DESTINY. That means it痴 licensed." Mr. Chu went on later to say that no air date has been set for the series, but Destiny may be released to DVD befor airing on TV.

Anime bittorrent sites such as Animesuki and Scarywater have already pulled the series from their trackers upon word of the licensing. However, several sites are still releasing episodes raw and subbed.

Bandai cites Gundam SEED's success as the reason for acquiring the rights to Gundam SEED Destiny

08th MS team ran to the end. MSG got horrible ratings and was pulled on 9/11, because what better excuse?

And um, do you really expect any network outside of the movie channels and the International Channel to ever regularly air anime subbed and uncut? Get over it and buy the DVDs that have been available for years.
