Why historical war manga haven't been translated?

Why nobody translate them?

Most people find realistic stories like that boring compared to fantasy ones, or cannot relate as much contemporary but realistic stories. Or that's how it seems to me.

Also, translators aren't interested in anything that isn't new and shiny and totally generic.

Area 88 rules above all, and you can find people selling the entire series on Ebay for about $20 plus shipping.  Don't forget Nambul: War Stories (I think it's a must-read so people can really understand the tensions and sentiments underlying Korea-Japan animosity), Saikano (warish enough?)...
