Opinions and thoughts on anime?

Anybody watch Samurai Champloo or Peacemaker? Opinions and thoughts? They look interesting.

Peacemaker is crap.  Don't know what the hell is Samurai Champloo but I have a hunch its gay too.

People seem to like Champloo pretty well - I only watched one or two episodes.  Seems to be one of those shows that focuses heavily on style.

Samurai Champloo does focus on style to an extent...but not to the extent where it detracts from the overall experience of a good show, which involves exploration of themes and of characters.

It's never really boring, and exceeds my expectations at times, especially later into the series. Yeah, I like it, and it seems to have something for almost everyone.

I've never seen Peacemaker and I don't particularly want to.

Peacemaker sucked. Mainly for fangirls to enjoy, but I'm a fangirl and I didn't even like it. There will  be a few really sweet action scenes which are surprisingly bloody, but they last for literally 5-10 seconds of each episode, which isn't really worth sitting through the story. Rurouni Kenshin is better if you skip the filler epsidoes :/
