Monster - I really like it.

Monster... amazing, just amazing... the plot is amazing, the chars are amazing... It just fells like Aerosmith (bad pun).

I'm on volume 11 actually and can't wait to read more :)

Monster is definately a winner! If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check out 20th Century Boys.

I've seen some of the series, I should check out the manga. As for 20th Century Boys, I jsut got the fisrt two volumes of direct connect.

Monster...

I recall, that I stopped back reading this manga after first few chapters. It didn't really hold any interest for me. No action, no huge boobs, no super powers...

then one day when I saw the complete series torrented. I'm a data whore. I dl'ed the whole thing and got started reading again.

Result? Monster is teh win! Really, I didn't know what I was missing out on when I stopped reading it. Oh well, at least I got to read it all at one go.

An aside: did Monster remind you of those 80's tv series? Like the Hulk, the fugitive, etc... where the main guy goes from setting to setting trying to do whatever it is that he's doing, while making a positive impact on those he meets?
