Since I am very original and everyone's starting "favorite blahblah"-threads, I thought we'd need to rant about the series that really sucks too.
The worst one I've seen is probably Pugyuru. The CGs and animations were crap, the character-design sucked, and the voice actors didn't do a good job either. Not at all.
How come no-one has mentioned Violence Jack? My god that was shitty, especially in part 3, when he suddenly turned out to be the god of death, transformed into a raven and flew away.
Tenchi series. All of it and it's bastard children!

Worst I have ever seen in full, is Ikkitousen I guess. It's not all that bad if you only want a shitload of fanservice and a plot made up inside a public restroom stall, but I choose my anime pretty carefully so I haven't encountered any worse.

the worst anime i have ever seen has to be gasaraki, slow as hell, horrible character design, shitty animation, shitty story, just wow, seriously this anime made me stop watching all forms of animated entertainment for a while, and i still havent recovered its been like a year, i used to be able to marathon animes but now i can't anymore. and the kicker is i paid for the fucking thing, i bought the entire dvd set (was on sale). i fucking tossed the thing in the trash. into the fucking trash.

i think shaman king is the worst manga/anime from all the anime/manga that i watched..know y?the beginning storyline was good,character design a bit woody but overall is ok...but i dunno y the story become worst start from chapter20(manga)n become horrible when it comes til' the end..im truly not satisfyingon the last episode cuz' it din really explain clearly wat is goin on...n im so regret cuz' im buying the whole sets of shaman king...-_-

Brain Powerd. Granted, I'm somewhat of an animu noob, but this is the worst thing I've watched so far. (Actually, I've still got 5 episodes left, can't just throw it all away after downloading 4 gigs.)
Also uses the worst terminology ever. You'll constantly hear things like "Yuu's brain has left the ship" or "get that woman's brain to join you in the fight" and stuff.
