How do you deal with your fringe interests?

They're fucking annoying, but I guess the internet helps.

This is my plan for calming the storm:

Sexuality: Pornography and masturbation of course, sometimes flirting with women while acting like a lascivious womanizing video game character, then acting asexual for the sweet kick of subtly rejecting

WAR RAGE VIOLENCE bloodshed: Martial arts, easy

Will to order, control, dominance: I collect military paraphernalia and pretend i'm some kind of super officer or something...I also dress well in general in public

The occult: I'm thinking about joining one of those batshit crazy occultist groups who do magick and kaballah and crap. I read a research study saying that this one group I'm thinking of joining is composed mostly of the batshit mentally ill and through research, found they don't actually have any secrets untold or anything...but I need something of the kind to distract myself. I really need a better suggestion here to satisfy my drive. pls! It's the Rosocrucians if anyone's wondering

Conspiracies, the covert secrets and on goings of powerful (state) actors, spy groups, etc etc: ...reading???? :s newspapers and crap? It's very unfillfilling knowing so little of the pie. I need help with what to do!

I'm currently employed as an environmental scientist with an env.sci degree and extremely remedial grades behind me.

Wow, my eyes are bleeding from reading such an edgy post. The best thing you can do is absorb yourself in your studies, like >>2 said.
Just take yourself less seriously, you sound like kind of an unpleasant person (coming from a person whose fringe powerlevel is definitely higher than yours).  Interests are meant to be just that, interests, not a way of life.

It's ok to take yourself seriously, but holy shit you must hate reality so much if you are willing go act like a fundamentalist Gnostic Christian [stocked with weapons, occult books and canned food ].
