Trying to get in contact

Hey VIP, it's me, one of the guys from last night.  I was post 123 in the MM thread, and I'll copy my post here for the lazy:
[I have an issue of my own. I take a walk after classes with this one girl everyday, just chatting about how classes went, daily things.  She said that she can't wait to see me after break, but I don't have her number.

How can I go about contacting her?  I need to strike while the iron is hot, and I feel that she is someone great.

I can't go about it through facebook , but we do have mutual friends.]

I ended up getting a phone, so I'll go about getting her number.  In other news, I mentioned her not having a facebook to a friend trying to set me up with her.  He told me I have just been spelling her last name wrong.  Before I send her a request, I need to change my year-old profile picture.
Should I:
[1] Take a douchey self shot
[2] Get a friend to take a spontaneous one or something along that line
[3] Take a picture of me snowboarding on the 26th, and just try to call in the meanwhile.

If you thought of her as "just a friend" before, then why do you not have her number yet? Girls sometimes call their friends, just saying.

If she's worried what you might think of her getting a piercing, then she definitely thinks highly of you, and frankly, I have never had a lady friend who was concerned about stuff like that unless they were into the guy. You need to act fast; she won't stay interested forever. Just casually ask for her number or find one of her friends on facebook and search their friends for her since you can't into facebook.
Good luck dude, and I'm sure you can come up with a decent date idea. If it were me, I'd be intimidated by all the snowboarding stuff, especially if I　ever found out how expensive it was; I'd think the guy might expect me to put out, just because of societal norms (not saying you're that kind of guy).
