Surface Chan

We have this wonderful semi-secret /text/ board, out of the majority of the internets eyes, yet we act like inferior surface 4chan scum. This isnt /bee/. Shouldnt we have higher standards, for legitimate discussion and info sharing?

This is pretty sad actually. I thought i was going to start exclusively using the /text/ boards from now on...but ive been slightly put off.

Listen >>1, because this may be intrinsic to the premise of your thread, I think 4-ch may be more what you're after. Reading world4ch caters to a specific taste and as far as I'm seeing, only 10% of the /bee/ stuff you see is actually related to /b/, the rest is satirizing reddit, tumblr, the imageboards, and pretty much the internet in general. We have a kind of all inclusive entry policy here, people will weed themselves out of it eventually.

It seems I guess the younger crowd that comes here doesn't know the modus operandi of News for VIP. News for VIP is a place where you can just chill and relax and totally do whatever. Also again, it wouldn't be so semi-secret if there wasn't an abhorrable nature to the place that sets people off at the door, women and children should fuck off and stay home after all. It was that same appeal that originally gained ground in the English speaking internet for /b/ and 4chan as a whole back in 2004, before it really became a 150 Yen off sale at Yoshinoya. Here are at News for VIP we are that Japanese man, ranting at the internet cafe probably next door to the place, about our once hallowed ground being exploited to the masses after trying to pay them to leave.
