I don't want to see /b/ dead.
/b/ is a part of my life.
I understand that we must kill cancer, but we are /b/astards.
For now we are on /x/. Waiting and watching.
We have home called /b/. But now there is a PUDDI-cancer.
>>38
Result of someone posting an image saying to come here. To be fair that is how I found my way here. I took a 4chan break and when I came back I had no idea what the fuck was all this puddi stuff. It does seem to be keeping the "newfags" at bay but as someone mentioned earlier it could result in the cancer to spread severely unto the other boards due to the lack of an outlet per se for those things. Initially I had decided to camp out in /x/ as I have done previously, but it's good to see there is other havens to refuge in.

...In the quote of an anon:
"FUCK YOU, MAN! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE JUST LURKED IN PEACE? HOW MANY WERE HAPPY WITH THE WAY /b/ WAS, EVEN WITH THE CANCER?!?! IT'S ALWAYS BEEN AN IMAGE BOARD, BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS NOW NO ONE CAN ACTUALLY SAY WHAT THEY WANT TO ABOUT THE THREAD! EVERYTHING WAS NICE, AND EVEN IF THE OCCASIONAL RAGE CAME, EVERYONE WAS FINE WITH THE WAY 4CHAN WAS! YEAH, NOW THERE'S OC, BUT REALLY, WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT IT? SOONER OR LATER, THE /b/TARDS ARE GOING TO BE PISSED, TAKE OVER THE OTHER BOARDS, AND FIND SOME DAMN WAY TO GET THE OLD 4CHAN BACK! YOU MAKE ME SICK!"
Personally, I think everything will balance out somehow. It's more of a wait-and-watch game.

It's definitely going to need to be a group effort, though, as soon as /b/ is back up we need to set guidelines in order to never justify this use of chemo again.

Amen. Well, i'll be back in a bit, you damned /b/astards. Need to go do shit. Hope this thread's still alive. >>42
That's what worries me...i'm a fellow /b/tard too, but this cancer will spread. And there's that DAMN MOD on /jp/ that will ban anyone for 30 days if they post puddi shit on there.
The solution would be to implement guideliness to prevent the cancer, ex. rate me threads, facebook, dick threads, etc., thus removing the need for chemo of this caliber to be used.
Dick threads definitely have got to go. I don't give a shit if you get down with dudes, but I don't want to have to scroll through pages of shafts whenever I hop on for a laugh. Any ideas on how to implement the guidelines? None of us are mods, or else this problem would have been solved by now.

Oh, and the guy that's been trying to rally people to LOIC attack /b/ has been banned, so we have someone on the inside working against us.

How do you even get to mod status? And camwhores would have to go too.
I have no fucking idea. I'd assume that your IP is tracked and if you contribute to the board enough then you're granted modship. I'm torn on camwhores, I like tits but they really do nothing to contribute.

FOR NOW WE NEED CHEMO!!!
Not LOIC it wont help.
Just calm /b/rothers. For some time /b/ will be PUDDI.
Then maybe Cancer will be cure.
I know is a less chance, but...
first: takara tomy is the name of the producer of this evil idea of puddi

All of our /b/retheren are currently taking refuge in /x/. The /x/fags are pissed about it, too. Also, the guy that was trying to rally the fags was named Stig. Here: http://images.4chan.org/b/src/1291223247334.jpg
That's his 'call'
Seems a little melodramatic . . . all we gotta do is wait. This'll clear up eventually, probably in a couple days. Then we return, bring hell down on /jp/, and /b/ gets back to normal, minus the cancer that brought on this chemo in the first place.

Don't worry /b/ro.
We are still in Internetz.
Waiting.
Agreed. Unfortunately I myself am not aware on how to become a mod other than being close friends with moot. That being said it seems that moot doesn't seem too interested in setting up these kind of guidelines. He is taking the easy way by trying to do a general "cleanup", which in turn is inconvenient for those of us who avoid being the "cancer". The only thing I can think of at the time would be to implement a filter similar to that of /r9k/ which only allows posts that are OC. Some would argue that it would defeat the purpose of /b/ as an "anything goes board" with it would be quite helpful. Yet again we run into the lack of mod status to set such a filter, we'd have to try an appeal for it to the current mods.
I think filters would be a little extreme, maybe necessary for a while to get the shit filtered out, but if they're permanent then people are gonna bitch about the constraints.
Regardless of what goes on, we gotta show /x/ some love, even though we did kind of invade. Otherwise we're no worse than the puddi faggots that fucked our shit up. Yeah, we're Anonymous and a bunch of /b/astards, but we gotta be grateful when it's due. Now's our time to come together and plot against the /jp/ furfags.
what if things dont clear up? what will anons new home be? I wouldnt want to believe that truely all /b/ros are taking over /x/ because in the end thats still /x/ and now our home

couldnt be a domain registered on a offshore hoster just 4 ourselfs?
/b/ sucks. I can't believe you people actually like posting stupid shit with 15 year olds who promotes the use of emoticons with every sentence they write.

That's what I was referring to about the whole arguement of /b/ not being well, /b/. Personally I can live with the some restrictions if it means weeding out the problem.
As for bonding with /x/ I agree 100%. Sure we've had our clashes here and there but they have always harbored us there in times of need. Multiple times at that, ex. the ddos attack on /b/ a while back by anon talk. Besides /b/ and /x/ used to be bros long ago, I see no reason why we can't do it again. It's just a matter of respecting their "house rules" as we are technically "guests" there. As for planning retaliation on /jp/ how can we successfully accomplish this? There is people being banned for plotting attacks and the rumors of moot being in favor of these bans. This would we the time for 4chan to come together as a whole and retake what is ours. We just need to gain the cooperation of the other boards, surely they are also sick of the "cancer" emanating from /b/. I believe a type of agreement can be made.
