I need the bed back

So it tells me that the little girl kept a diary under her bed, which the tiny key is for. The problem is that (as it wasn't nailed down properly) I took the bed, along with everything in her room (the night stand, the cupboard, the dresser and so on) and then, encountering another bed, I dropped the bed that I'm supposed to look under out in the hallway, to avoid confusion, and then somebody took it. Now, I know where the thieves hang out, they hang out in the cellar, but they tell me that they didn't take no bed. ...so basically I'm here searching for a hitman to come shake the truth out of these thugs.
