I'm apalled about /b/.

I just read a depressing thread in /b/ about rape. Sure there were trolls aplenty, but what would lead even trolls to write that women let all rapes happen, or that raping a woman would be "badass"? Sure, in many cases women can be assholes for whom rape would be therapeutic, and I know of plenty of women who would just love to get raped, and who liked it enough to ask for seconds, but seriously, there are exceptions to the rule.

Rape is serious stuff. It's like a gun or a bomb - you don't play around with it. You don't shoot somebody just to do something "badass". I don't think you can justify this hatred that you must feel when you speak of "whores" and "bitches" as savage animals. You just can't be rejected or bullied enough times to hate ALL women. You're just being immature.

I'm not going to be against all forms of rape, because that would be equally immature. Rape can be a wonderful thing, but still, you can't go around thinking it gets you some kind of a street cred to rape "hoes". Sometimes that is just being an asshole - a MAJOR asshole - and it's because of immature people like that that rape has been outlawed today.

I don't care about WTC or Steve Irwins death being made fun of, because that's funny jokes that makes /b/ good. However, saying that all americans want to be killed by airplanes, or that all australians are "bitches" or idiots that should be killed by stingrays, that's just stupid, unfunny stuff. I can understand if it would be FUNNY on some level to say that "bitches" want to get raped just because they can't fight off their attacker, but it's not, at least not for a grown 18yo.

Perhaps what I'm really saying is that /b/ has now become a Habbo hotel for minors looking to be cool.
