Saitama [NEWS] [HEROES]

SAKADO, Saitama -- Twin sisters leaped to their deaths from an apartment block here over the weekend, police said.

The two unemployed women aged 26 appeared to have climbed over a 9th floor railing on the 12-story building and jumped.

Residents found the women lying on the ground on Sunday afternoon and arranged for them to be rushed to a hospital where their deaths were confirmed.

Police said they have not found a suicide note. (Mainichi)
