Communism works

Communism works and gives power to those who actually work, not pretend to work.

And to those who pretend to speak for those who work. That, too. It produces a hierarchical power structure combined with economic planning, just like capitalism -- only on a scale that is an order of magnitude larger.

Communism sort of works when it can reverse engineer stuff from capitalist countries.

And when the government can somehow make enough food, which occasionally happens.

communism has a maximum size for which it can work. if it gets bigger, the only way for the society to remain communist-like is to become a communist-like socialist dictatorship.

Decentralization makes communism work. Central rule makes everything suck.

Become VIPPER, embrace QUALITY. True Communism is not far behind.

I don't think that size is really a factor.  Communism would only work if every member is voluntarily communist and freely gives of themselves to the whole before providing for themselves.  It's that whole forcing your subjects to conform to communist ideals that really doesn't work with people.
