So far with 5 level 40+ shitheads, two paladins and 3 wizards, only two F.O.E.s can kill me, Wyvern and Golem. The rest of them I charge into and rape with fully leveled thunder, blizzard, and poison. All depending on how tough they actually are, which in the third stratum they're pretty unhealthy to leave alive for very long, especially on the 13th/14th floor with these stupid fucking killclaws that show up on the map in random places once you're one turn into a fight and then disappear one step later if that next step doesn't land you on top of them. I really wish if they'd take the time to come out of the water in the first place that they'd fucking stay there for me to get to them everytime so I can get the experience and items. Whatever, fuck em, I'm going to go solo one for my quest. Oh, and nerf protectors already. Also fix the medic, the troubadour and the landsknecht. Damn best turn based RPG I've played in forever though, too bad it won't last me long enough for Twin Age to get localised, sigh.

UPDATE: two 50 protectors (thank god for antifire) and three 44 alchemists later and wyvern is now my bitch, but the motherfucker gave me a big fat 0 for experience and an item that shilleka didn't make shit out of from when I sold it to her, what a rip.

Because My protectors have lvl 5 fortify and lvl 10 def up and lvl 10 shields, plus I just can't handle the fact that they don't do any damage. The best deefense is a good offense in my opinion, plus with the fact that one of my protectors has lvl 10 cureII and the other one is at like 8, I can just rely on healing when I need to to get by. Plus I often need all three of those alchemists, since the first one has full poison, the second has full ice, and the last has full thunder, with them all falling back on some low level fire skills incase it is needed.
This was the party I formed in order to get past B3 with those stalkers since my protectors couldn't do much at that level and it seemed they were weakest to fire, I've been with the same 5 dorks ever since, I have a bunch of survivalists for chopping mining and taking, one survivalist for eventually leveling (I don't care for how defentially incapable they are) and a darkhunter landsknecht and roning for the same, that is, whenever I feel they'll become needed, which I'm not sure will happen at this point.
Oh yeah and the item I got was some wing, tough wing or torn wing or some shit, I guess it is better than nothing but I was expecting some nice gloves or wyvernskin boots or anything that would've made all that time and nectars worth it, nope!
Oh, and I love how all the best skills for darkhunter and landsknecht are in swords, yet of course their specialty weapons do way more normal damage. That and the fact I can't get rid of this stupid pearl. Never should've taken that quest, buh-bye inventory space, as if I had enough to begin with.

I just got back from the 19th floor and upon selling a bunch of red strings threads and other shit I get...WYVERNMAIL. 7200en, def26 ALL RESIST UP, landsdicks and protectors only. Sounds like it will come hugely in handy but, she also has this nice Jazeraint up for me, def35, hp18, tp10, I can't resist it over the wyvern's for now, but at least that wing finally turned into something.

All my alchemists finally made it to 50 so I decided to complete the bandit's treasure quest and defeat the golem, which I did, very very very very luckily with two stonard II's on a select pair of my 3 alchemists and axcela IIs on my paladins, poor sucker wasted many of his turns using physical and elemental defense raising skills, fortunately my poison guy got the poison on him, and then once he was at half health he recasted his physical barrier, I had my other two guys give him boosted lvl10 freeze and thunder...which did about 1015 and 750 damage respectively.
Soon after this, he was dead as a bitch, got a golem rock, it hasn't turned into anything as of yet, but to know that I no longer have a F.O.E. I can't beat (even if I was merely lucky he did less attacks than status spells) is enough of a reward for now.
15 more levels until I retire my paladins.
