I'm launching an Internet Radio station

This March myself and a number of associates will be launching a technology and 'net culture oriented internet radio station. While we have a number of shows and content providers lined up many "prime time", and latenight/daytime timeslots are available. Show hosts will receive a percentage of advertising revenue.

If you want your radio station to have even one listener then as of right now you should be trying to convince users why they should listen in and/or contribute their own content, instead of asking for people to write why they think you should have them on your internet radio. There's no reason why anyone would want to submit their "shows", as you will, to your station when you've given very little information on it, and frankly, it doesn't seem much different from the hundreds of other mediocre internet radio broadcasts and podcasts. I mean, take Radio Grounds for example- one of the best radio stations on the 'net (although it is far from the most popular, but it also has NO advertisements whatsoever)- how do you expect to compete with established online stations such as this? Are you even capable of competing with them? Is this just something you thought would be fun to do when you were bored? Sounds like bollocks to me. And have a nice time trying to get people to pay more than a few bucks to advertise on your show, losers.

So let me get this straight... You expect users to create content for you while you do absolutely nothing and take most of the profit from ads? Pathetic.
