How can I end my masturbation addiction?

I seem to be masturbating a lot more recently and I want to stop. I need help. I've tried stopping before but its never worked out. I'm not saying masturbating is a bad thing, but its eating up a lot of my time.

I think my problem is simply there are too many hot chicks in the world to wank to. I can't help it, I love beautiful women. Plus with a high-speed internet connection porn is easy to come by.

Has anyone else been in this situation? Can anyone offer advice to stop me masturbating too much?

Unfortunately I'm very shy when it comes to girls. I'm probably looking for someone to settle down with anyway - not a temporary horny girlfriend. So that won't work. Damn typing with one-hand at the keyboard is hard..
