Anime is not for children!

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Go talk to anyone who actually works in the anime industry who the vast majority of anime shows are targeted for. Guess who they will say? Children and young teens.

>>Go to Japan you will see grownups with anime ringtones, and anything anime you will see for yourself

Bullshit.

You waps who are still under this impression that anime is mainstream (which it isn't outside of things like Ghibli movies) and is the same as live action you really need to read this: http://www.angelfire.com/geek/tetrisnomiko/misconceptions.html

In the end, anime is not watched by everyone in japan. It is not mainstream. Manga on the other hand is mainstream within the japanese society.

If you where adult, you wouldnt show such a childish attitude.

Therefore, your grounds to tell anyone else they're acting like a child for watching any sort of program immediately drops to 0.

Also, shows are not rated to their target audience.  They're rated in direct relation to what age groups should be allowed to watch, minimum.  The anime market does not target children; it makes anime child friendly, just like every other media market.

You fail for the lack of understanding of a rating system.  Any adult can watch anime, with their dignity and their maturity fully intact.  Anime or media that is 'for' adults should be watched by adults only, anime or media that is 'for' children can be watched by any age group safely.  The only point here, is that some adults might not be interested in many all-age friendly programs.  This is the only part in which your opinion matters.  If you, yourself, think anime is 'kiddy', then that's your own opinion; and you're welcome to not watch it.

What an Adult shouldnt do, though, is troll on an online forum, and spam false misconceptions leading to confusion and unrest of an internet community.  Shame on you.
