SAITAMA � A woman and three children were found dead Saturday morning in a parked passenger car in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, in what police believe was a murder-suicide. Burnt charcoal briquettes were found on the passenger seat.

Police said the car was found by a passerby at around 9 a.m. The woman, who appeared to be about 30 years old, was in the driver's seat, and the three children � a boy about 10, a girl about 6 or 7, and another girl about 3 or 4 � were in the back seat. (Kyodo News)
