Seinfeld

God I love Seinfeld.

No show can match, or exceed, Seinfeld's level of entertainment.
Entertainment that compromises of absurdity, humor, and situational irony.

One example of Seinfeld's superior humor is the "Jerry" subplot in season 4.
Just the idea of a mirror show being made inside of the show is chuckle inducing.
But they took the idea and went beyond anybodies expectations of it.

In my opinion, my favorite episodes are "The Contest" and "The Betrayal".

Speaking of which, "The Betrayal" also provides a great example of why Seinfeld is master.
The plot progresses backwards for no reason.
You begin watching it in utter confusion.
But you slowly realize what is going on.
You start to wonder what the point in the jest is.
Until the show is over, and you realize there was none.

At which point you start bursting out in hearty laughs, sides burning from exertion, and you have a brand new outlook on life.

I'll say what I said last time: The show was funny in a pre-9/11 world where Cell phones and the internet didn't exist as a affordable or mainstream solution to common ignorance.

Back then, all we had was "Small talk".
Then again, it's "nothing I haven't seen before".
