Watched the Letterman show last night which had Tom Cruise as one of the guests. It was obvious that the interview was pretty strained and the audience obviously didn't warm to Cruise at all. Each time he attempted to be funny, it went down like a lead balloon. I think his star is rapidly on the wane...

There was a really hilarious part of the show when Jamie Oliver came on to do a cooking segment, cooking a Thai seafood Laksa. Letterman had Cruise help with the preparation.

Jamie Oliver asked Cruise to put some Scallops and some Prawns into a pan...the look on Cruise's face!

"Do I have to use my fingers" he asked...

Oliver's response:

"Use your fingers...be proud...be a man"!...that really got the crowd laughing but the look on Tom Cruise's face was priceless...like someone had just told him he was a wimpy *****! Absolutely no hint of a smile or anything. I think Jamie Oliver probably thinks the guy is an idiot as well.

Cruise is a humourless control freaking dope IMHO...I'll give his marriage to Katie Holmes 2 years tops...
