I mainly watch it on Saturday.  I like anime, but i'm not to much of a weaboo to hunt down fan subs.

37 was right.  12 Oz Mouse truly is utter crap.  I really didn't think shows could get any worse than tom goes to the mayor.  But Adult Swin supprised us all for their uncanny ability to find utter shit and put it on TV.

Sorry, I would rate GitS as being otaku myself. Any fictional show whose most important dialogues rely more on dead people than live seem custom made for Starbucks-swilling yuppie 'ar-teests.'
But I'm glad I watched it to the end on the first run, because episode 25 was one of the funniest things ever.

They cater to the audience that watches it.  If more anime fans watched adult swim, there would be more anime.  Unfortunately, more "general audience" type people watch adult swim, and they like don't have the patience for anime.  They want easy, disposable humour, and they've got it.

I like Venture Brothers. I hate all those shitty, badly-animated shows they make. I watched NGE last night and it pissed me off. IT had a really shitty quality and the dub is horrible. The one I downloaded has a way greater quality. IT bothers me that they show Inuyasha all the time. It's so boring, they should add new shows. Not stuff they've shown a thousand times like Cowboy Bebop and Furi Kuri. The bumps are annoying and stupid. Luckily I stopped watching it when I started to DL fansubs. :D

I love AS, but it is unfortunant that they don't play very much anime. I actually like most of their choices though. I also love their comedy blocks with Family Guy, ATHF, The Boondocks, etc.

I liked adult swim back when they were just starting up, then I got cable, started downloading anime, and found out just how bad they'd been butchering it.

Go to bestbuy or bittorrent for anime and leave AS to the truly wacked shit you can't get anywhere else like 12 oz. Mouse.  The only excuse for watching five year old dubbed versions of anime on AS is if you are like 12 or fucking homeless or something.

Captian Murphey sealabs are the only worth while thing williams street has made. Any of the anime or Family Guys that are good are still good on AS.

I think Fma is and host in the shell family guy, and sealab thats about it and aqua team but they need to make more new episodes of sealab. There anime is all that bad its a good line up of shows if you dont have satilite t.v (I dont :( ) I wish i had somthing like direct t.v for the ANime networl or somthing *tear*

They's showing the Area 88 TV series on that now. Avoid it. Totally incompetant storywriting, it's like a horrible 1980's flightjock movie. All it's missing to be complete are a couple of gay pilots dodging the issue by pursuing a girl, Danger Zone in the soundtrack, and Ice T flying a stealth bomber. The three OAVs are so above it in quality you'd think it were a completely different show.

MTV hosted some good shows... Aeon Flux and Daria. I'd suggest that Adult Swim should pick up some of the old MTV stuff. Even The Maxx or Downtown would be an improvement.

Adult Swim gets a 5th of the ratings that "Fridays" gets. It makes me feel warm inside that Billy and Mandy and Fosters Home garner five times as many viewers on any given day than ATHF or Sealab.

Morel Oral, Family Guy, Futurama,ATHF,Harvey Birdman, Stoker and Hoop, and Venture Bros. Are the only good things on AS...Period.

Here in LA (Latin America) we are watching Cinderella Boy in the Toonami segment. It is very cool. It's like Cliffhanger (Lupin the Third) mixed with Ranma 1/2 and AS is only transmitted Fryday and Saturday from 11pm to 3am of the next day.

They should show more Mission Hill.

Family Guy, Futurama, Home Movies, Venture Brothers, ATHF, boondocks...I wouldn't mind them bringing back the old Super Mario brothers cartoons with the real live actors and the Real Ghostbusters from back in the day...Oh well just childhood cartoons.

I think it's interesting how many people have show crossing opinions. For example, some like ATHF and Sealab, Stroker & Hoop, and Venture Bros. Some like some of those shows while hating others. I am astounded that anyone likes 12 oz mouse, but I saw at least 1 person say they liked it.

For my part, GITS:SAC is the only anime I have any interest in. I buy every DVD of it. Nearly everything else is tiresome repetitive drivel that is of the same vomit quality you would get if you converted Will & Grace into cartoon form.

OTOH, I love ATHF, Sealab, Stroker & Hoop (I actually met the voice of Hoop in person yesterday in San Francisco! He's hilarious in real life too!), Home Movies, Minoriteam, and Robot Chicken (love it!).

I used to try to record individual shows, but AS switches around schedules like crazy, so for a while now I've just been recording from midnight to 4am Monday morning.

I always skip over 12 oz mouse (unbearable to watch) and Boondocks. I usually skip over Tom and then go back and watch it later when I rewatch the entire lineup again at a later date.

Venture Bros is almost a good show. If they do another season I hope they leave the brothers dead. Brock and the magician are kick ass characters. The brothers are just pansy losers who irritated me.

I guess AS has strange shows, so lots of people have crosscutting interests in the shows.

I think most people have varying opinions about their non-saturday stuff, but most people I talk to really don't enjoy their Saturday block.  Without Venture Brothers, it's anime that everyone has already seen.  I mean yeah it's cool to watch an episode of FMA or GITS if nothing else is on, but if something else is on.......

Also my favorite Adult Swim show is 12 Oz. Mouse.......yeah.
At first I didn't really like it at all, but then I watched it with a big group of friends and we all sort of "got it" at the same time.
Other shows I enjoy on AS:  Home Movies, Venture Brothers, Mission Hill, and Boondocks.
