if, for an example, i post on a picture board and upload a pic from my computer , will the owner of the connection be able to see details like the original path of my picture (names of folders etc)

No. He will be able to see where it came from, capture the picture and if there is any exif data maybe know where you were standing and what phone you took the picture on. Other than that, no he can't. Your computer takes said file, breaks it down into bits, encapsulates those bits with necessary info to get it to where it's going and pipes it out your network card. Choosing the file path is for your computer to know what it needs to send, not the actual server. None the less, if he has a clue he could easily eavesdrop on any shit you send.
