Double forward slashes after Domain Name?

Hello!

Recently, I decided to build a new webserver box, running ClearOS 5.2. I decided to give IP Board 3.1.4 a try, as I will need forum software. The installation went fine, and in fact, the system is still running fine, apart from a small problem with the URL.

for whatever reason, my URL comes out like this:

http://example.com//index.php

Now, this isn't a huge issue, as I can just click the link to get me back to the forum, but this page pops up whenever I exit the Admin Control Panel, and whenever trying to "go home" by means of pressing the "forums" button.

Anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? I have no problem with dumping logs/configs with pastebin links if needed.

Yes, this is a fresh installation, no I have not modified any of the configuration files.

Also, as an update;

Due to the trailing slashes after the domain name, none of the forums are accessible without removing the extra forward slash. Ex.

http://example.com//index.php/forum/14-example/
Must be changed to:
http://example.com/index.php/forum/14-example/

Hey guys, OP here. I have resolved this problem.

For anyone having issues with this:

Look for the conf_global.php in the root web directory (AKA where you installed IP.Board)

Find the line that says:
$INFO['board_url']        = 'http://example.com/

And change it to:

$INFO['board_url']        = 'http://example.com
