Buying Electrical Components and the like

I'm looking to doing some projects and I was wondering where I should go to buy things I need I E.g. LEDs, Boards, Soldering stuff, Resistors, Switches et cetera.

also check online see is there a local hackspace you'll find they bulk buy and may sell you components or you can get involved in their projects but that involves being social
