External HDD

I'm quickly running out of storage space on my 32 GB flash drive. I'm considering getting an external HDD to keep my files on (I store all music, photo, video and software files externally, as too not slow down my PC), but I'm not exactly knowledgeable about this kinda stuff (That became apparent when I started searching for a 1 exabyte HDD ^^' They don't exist yet- who knew?), so, could someone tell me if the external HDD I am planning on buying is worth the money, or, you know... Good? And, if not, perhaps recommend one for me to buy? I'm looking for 1TB of storage space.

"Toshiba Canvio 1.0 TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - HDTC610XK3B1 (Black)"

Would this be any good, or should I keep looking?

Does your computer have an usb 3.0 port?
(if it is older than 1-2 years -> no)

The argument not to slow down your pc is wrong, a second internal disk wont slow down anything.

I would reccomend a internal 1TB hd and a external 1TB esata/usb harddrive (for backups, assuming you really have 1TB of data..!)

About that Toshiba, go google for reviews, they can come in handy..

(just dont buy freecom, they are shitty as hell)
