What are the differences ?

Engineering is design. Basically you do OS and hardware. Science is OS and prgramming.

Computer science is science with computers. Software engineering is where you have some asshole breathing down your back because he commissioned you to make him an application.

With CS you work with real things using your algorithms to fufill certain purposes in the physical world. Precision and being completely bug free is paramount. Any mistake could be a looming disaster for the project and possibly things that have no relation to it.

EX: Robotics, missiles, navigation, measurement instruments

With SE you work with virtual environments that revolve around fufilling purposes for users. Precision and being bug free is nice, and desired, but failing to meet either of those won't generally be catastrophic, and can afford to be addressed in time.

EX:Games and their servers, websites, applications(image editors, text editors, spreadsheet makers, presentation software, et cetera)
