Dear /tech/,
I accepted to do a project that is way above my level.
I have to make a problem that analyses your poker winning chance. I know all the math to do this but how can I make such a program that does the math for me? What languages/programs do I need to know? Where to start?

I'm gonna be honest: I don't know.

But I do play poker and I know there are *several* free programs that already do this; I'd be inclined to take one of them and totally rip it off, change a bit of the UI and rename it, call it a day.
