OMG SO SLOW :* (

Name: Anonymous 2011-10-06 5:10

Just wondering what could cause dramatic slow down of a comp.

I built my system about a year ago and it was fast for a few months but slowed down dramatically after. I think I might have reinstalled windows before it slowed and I'm sure I have since then (xp then 7) but it still remains slow (plays all games at low fps, programs load slowly etc.) I don't really understand benchmarks and performance stuff, I just know its slow, heh.

Anyways, just wondering if it could be a hardware problem or maybe I forgot to install a driver.

Here's a copy and paste of my hardware using pc wizard:

Mainboard :    EVGA EVGA P55 SLI LE E653

There's your problem, if you want a fast computer delete windows, install a Linux distro and if that's not working try a light Linux distro. Good Luck!
