Wiping All of My Existence on the Internet

Name: Vote4Pedro 2011-09-28 10:03

I just read an article saying that basically Facebook is onto our asses:

"The social networking giant says the huge privacy breach was simply a mistake - that software automatically downloaded to users' computers when they logged in to Facebook 'inadvertently' sent information to the company, whether or not they were logged in to Facebook at the time.
Most would assume that Facebook stops monitoring them after they leave, but technology bloggers discovered this was not the case.
In fact, data has been regularly sent back to the social network’s servers – data that could be worth billions when creating 'targeted' advertising based on the sites users visit."

Is there a way I could permanently get rid of my Facebook account and wipe all my existence online? I like 4chan because it's anonymous and doesn't shove any ideology down anyone's throat. I wish the world was 4chan.

Get a new IP address and don't use the same usernames or anything.

Your biggest problem with facebook (which is also mine) are your friends. Even if you somehow get rid of your account and ip, photos with you still pop up in FB and in conversations. I never used FB and yet I'm still in it.
No one escapes FB but hopefully FB will not be a trend anymore and FB, and private informations about us, will only be on the 1000000000 google search querry on the word "book".
