You are my last hope. Long story short, I downloaded a virus, acer aspire 5742-6846 laptop with windows 7, won't boot up, instead opens some repair that won't work, have acer recovery discs from future shop, can't access them, what do?

Sounds like all you can do is re-install Win 7. Can you provide more details? Or give a more detailed version of what you stated?
