Old PC.

Hey /tech/

My brother just bought a new PC and gave me his old one.
I don't know much about computers but I'm wondering if this old PC is good enough to play the latest games.

Here are the specs:
Western Digital 500gigabite
Core two duo e6600
Soundblaster x-fi
4 gigabites of ram
gforce 8800gtx

So what's the verdict? can I safely go buy games like Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2?

I hope someone here knows the answer to this! I'm building a site based on .asp, but I'm used to using php. What is the equivalent to this code in .asp:

<?php echo $page_title; ?>

at the beginning of the file I use this:

<?php
$page_id = "pageHome";
$page_title = "Welcome";
?>

to define page title. Need to know how to duplicate that functionality in asp!

gforce
.asp

Install Gentoo and get Lighttpd runnin' on that bad boy.

That pc is very similar to my own. Not going to play the latest games on max settings, but it should run new games acceptably. (I run ut3, l4d2 on max settings. those are the newest games I have).

OP's build will run current games on mid settings, build in #5 should max most.
