Can someone recommend a book by title, provide a link for a torrent or a site, or anything else he sees best regarding Gears and clockwork machines like clocks?
I'd really like to learn more about the subject so any kind of help would be appreciated...

What about mechanical engineering? I know it has a broader spectrum, but it encompasses clockwork system too. I think. What do you guys say?

OP, I think MIT provides some online courses, but I don't know much and it's a little hard to find. Perhaps someone else can help?
