Looks interesting, but it's more tech-based, as it requires programming.
Has alot more opportunities though, for mobile computing like a robot or something

i have the arduino mega. the real strength in the arduino system is in all of the "shields" or addon boards.... when you compare this to the fucking basic stamp development boards that my school bought for $100 a piece, that are slow as shit, and that offer WAY fewer i/o pins than the 32 digital i/o of the arduino mega... it was obvious what i was gonna spend my $50 on....

not to mention that if you prototype with an arduino board and wanna produce say 100 of them, you build a tiny board based around the same amtel chip, burn the boot loader onto it, and use the same arduino code you used for the prototype. Tl;dr: arduino is god tier
