Ipod ripping

I have been scouring the internetz for a program that will allow me to essentially rip an ipod's contents onto my computer. The ipod in question is a 2nd gen touch, which for some reason is causing problems with the majority of programs I have run across. If anyone has a solution I'd be appreciative.
