A version signed by the devs will only work until they update again, and they update a lot. Sure they might fix bugs add or some minor stuff but it almost seems like they deliberately hold back bugfixes in order to release them every time. So yes, you can't trust this post yet so i'll try using tripcode, signatures and diffs from the sources from now on. I have no interest in botnets or virus wars, I am a honest pirate.

Found the 5.2 apk that destroys SD card data on /rs/, didn't know it was bullshit until it was too late. I guess I thought Android malware was less widespread? Dumb of me.
Killed the process, rebooted to recovery and wiped all cache, formatted SD card, restored to factory settings, restored an old nandroid backup from my PC, updated and backed up all my apps from the backup, made a new backup, flashed to the newest Cyanogenmod, backed up again.
Is there anything I missed? Did the .APK do anything but fill your SD card with reicock that I should worry about?

No point of using older version since they're no longer truly supported.
I paid via allopass from top up credit to temp card then to my online only account, bought the app, then got latest version. I lost some credit with allopass but nvm, I don't have a bank account but managed to buy it.
It's only one off payment I believe so just buy the app if you want it so bad. Peace out.
