Hi guys I have a few questions,
I recently had a boot loop bug, so I "repaired" xp. When repairing it, it creates a new user and deletes all of the old ones while still keeping the old users files and settings.
I was wondering what the best way to transfer these settings/files to my new account would be.
I have tried using the File and Settings Transfer Wizard, however it is meant to transfer settings from user to user (I'm on the same account both times and just having it transfer my old users folder)
Is there a way I could simply link/registry edit so that my current account accesses the old accounts files?
Will the File and Transfer Wizard overwrite my current settings properly?
Any other insight would be great, thanks.
