One way that we can fix /g/ is to stop all the trolling by actually reporting the fuckers, but we know that's fucking impossible.
Point being, we need to focus on just a few (mostly obvious) of the problems on /g/ at one time.
6 of the major problems include:
weeaboo shit
amd v. intel threads
install gentoo
techloligy
flac threads
os threads

1) weabo shit isn't a problem, unless the post contains nothing tech related.
2) Become the change you wish to see. Never, ever, respond (in any way) to any useless post or any attempted troll post.
3) Start using sage in the way it was intended (This is a reply to the thread and I'm being polite by not bumping, not "lol, I vote your thread down")
People may want to consider using sage for every thread, unless the thread is actually good.
4) Tech support threads are death and aids. But they're better than 90% f the shit on /g/ (they're better than rate my rig threads). If OP has shown some attempt at solving problem /g/ may want to give hints and tips about how to continue solving problem - this helps op learn, and can generate useful interesting discussion ("you can do that, but why would you want to, this is the usual method"). If op is a useless clueless fuck it's better to just link to a search engine and sage, with maybe an explanation of why techsupport threads are hated.
LIST OF THINGS I REALLY FUCKING HATE ON /g/
1) Porn. And porn staying for *hours* even when reported. Especially when that porn is illegal in US. I'd make posting unclothed bodies, whether 2d or 3d, bannable. Only a short ban, like a couple of hours, but enough to get the point across that /g/ is worksafe.
2) Reaction images and green txt. (I'd be tempted to make this bannable. Only a short ban, maybe an hour. Just enough to make the point that it's fucking annoying.)
3) Copy-pasta troll threads appearing every fucking day.
