Every time I try to log in normal mode, I get an error message that says "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x8004045d
Recently one of my computers has started to start up at unusually slow speeds. When I finaly manage to get to the desktop, it does not even reach the point where I see the shortcuts. Instead, what happens is that a window pops up saying I have error 0x8004045d. I have been able to access the computer through safe mode and the files through the network. Also, when the setup menu/area/whatever is used and I try to fix things the computers says that it can not find any hard drives, which is confusing to me, as it does have a hard drive. I'm using the Home version fo XP, if that helps.
Any help at all in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
