Solar Power

Can someone give me the latest figures of how efficient solar panels are? Last time i checked i believe there were costly experimental panels that absorbed roughly 70% of the energy brought upon them, whereas conventional commercial quality panels only absorb about 20%.

Any links relevant to solar energy, breakthroughs and news would also be greatly appreciated.

Governments really need to start pouring money into this alternative to fossil fuels.
