Speakers

So I'm looking for new speakers. What I'm searching for is something that could give great sound for when at home, but also good sound when traveling with a laptop. Perhaps a three-piece system with a bass module that can be unplugged?

Any recommendations?

Altec Lansing actually makes some quality PC speakers at a reasonable cost. A few with great sound and very deep bass from the subwoofer. Logitech would
 be a more popular and expensive solution. If you're really a hardcore audiophile with moar cash than concern I would suggest Bose as a solid choice for PC speakers. Just make sure to get a nice audio card from Creative to go with it if you choose the final route I suggested.
