No case problem?

Hay there guys. Im throwing a temporary computer together. It doesn't need to last me any longer than a couple of months. I have a motherboard, but its not the same shape as the case im using. Is it a bad idea to put all the components in anti-static bags and just have them lying on my desk?

Yes thats a terrible idea

1. Cooling will be non existent
2. Anti Static bags are a conductor

Cooling isn't as huge a problem as you might expect. In the worst case you can just put a fan on it.
