Building a Computer

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-22 23:36

Okay, I am to put it simply I am a not exactly keen when it comes to computer hardware. I understand some things, but for the most part I am in the dark when it comes building a computer.

Here is what I came up with, will these parts work together? Are there alternatives that will work better?

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131297

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115036

Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130325

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151056

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227230

Alternative RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220269 (this one I just stumbled upon.)

Are there any websites that would serve as a guide to what I should be looking for, or maybe a "how to" build one?

Thank you all very much for you time.

Opera kicking your dog is the least of your worries.
If you don't get an opera compatable mobo, and an opera card, it will rape your mother, father, all your relatives, friends, and anyone else you have ever made eye contact with. It will fill your HDD with german gay fetish beastiality porn, then overvolt it so it shatters sending razor sharp hunks of metal into your shins. You better watch out!

as far as building the pc, check out xoxide.com
they have alot of cool stuff, and guides.

If all else fails, google it.
