Ok /tech/, windows is being a piece of shit as usual, can't boot for shit. Now, normally I just repair it using the installation cd and do a chdsk, but since it won't detect the hard drive it just resets in my face before letting me do anything. What do you guys recomend? format/reinstall is not an option

dead drive maybe? use a linux (ubuntu) live cd to see if the drive is still alive if it is you can copy and paste to a new drive to back up you shit.
