Computer won't boot... too hot??

Name: Anonymous 2008-02-02 5:30

I left the computer on today and it was hot as fuck... i couldnt check the temp but it was resetting itself. So i presume it was hot... but now when i turn it on it just sits there idle... it's on but there's no start up.

I check the CPU i don't think it's burnt. What else could it be /tech/? Would a reset of cmos/bios make a difference?

I'm running a P4 2.6 with 1GB DDR2 533 ram on XP on a Gigabyte 945P m/b

If it's getting hot, why is it freezing? Explain that with your fancy science, why don't you.
