HALP!

So, I'm building a computer, with these specs:
Q6600 Intel 2.4 GHz processor
PCChips 23G motherboard
2GB DDR2 533 RAM
2 HDDs, 2 DVD drives

I just built it, but when I turn it on, everything seems to work, except there's no video nor any beep signaling a successful POST. Could it be the motherboard's shorted, or what?

Maybe not enough power, try a different psu.

Looks like you did not install the graphic card correctly. The card needs its own power cable.

forgot to mention: checked ram, video card, and proc, leaving only the mobo, thats how i knew,
