Is there a good free program for this? The best I've found is a free-to-try program that only finds passwords up to 3 characters long, and that's pretty useless.

RAR uses AES for encryption, so all password recovery tools will be brute-force or dictionary attacks. If you have reason to believe the person who picked the password isn't a total moron, you're basically screwed.
