Headphones

Alright guys, I'm looking for some quality headphones that produce great sound for both games and mp3s and have no idea where to start/what to buy. I've googled quite a bit and still can't find any clear path to the right set of headphones, so I wanted to ask you guys for some recommendations.
P.S. I don't want to spend a fortune.
Thanks

I use this style for my iPod, PC (When I don't need my mic headset.), and for anything else.

There are only three things that can damage this product. First, pulling the cord so that the wires out of the headphones bend 90 degrees and are pulled tight. Second, doing the same to the jack part of it. Last, having the headphone get caught in the bag, or being stepped on. Normally, those three are easy to avoid if you aren't in a rush or do exotic hand maneuvers while listening. Also, I think they apply to all headphones.

I bought 7 pairs in total since 2003 until now, and only four have failed me for the following reasons:

1: I coiled the wire too tight around my CD player.
2: My friend borrowed a pair and never gave em back.
3: Accidental scissors while talking to said friend about missing headphones. (Irony.)
4: Dad took a pair for their awesomeness when he watches stuff on his portable DVD player and doesn't wanna be bugged.

I strongly advise these headphones for their low cost and high durability.

"Fortune" is a relative word, dumbass. What one would consider a fortune another would see as chump change.

With that said, you should definitely go for a Grado GS1000.
